My husband is working on a ceder fence for us. The results are lots of ceder scraps laying around. Which got my mind going. They are so beautiful I knew I wanted to use them somewhere, but where? Place-mats? A plant stand? Hmmm…. might not work so good.
Then it hit me, plant hangers! I asked hubby to cut a few slices about 1 1/2 inches thick and drill four holes in the ceder slices for me, to which he kindly agreed! Bless his heart.
And then I went looking for rope…
I found some that was left over from another DIY project. Clap! I love when that happens!
Then all that was left to do, was feed the rope through the drilled holes and knot it at the bottom, so it wouldn’t pull back through.
The next time I went past our local green house I stopped in and picked up a beautiful basket of petunia flowers and Viola!
I love DIY that bring quick beautiful results!
